Kern River Rafting – Southern California
Come and raft the Kern River! Kern River rafting combines the adventure of white water rafting with the natural beauty of the Sequoia National Forest. The Kern River cuts through more than 150 miles of the Sierra Nevada Mountains on its journey to feed the fertile fields of the San Joaquin Valley. Over time it has become a prime destination for whitewater enthusiasts and recreational adventurers alike. Located about 3 hours from Los Angeles California (CA), the Kern Valley offers hiking, fishing, equestrian trails, camping and some of the best whitewater in the country.
The beautiful town of Kernville, where you’ll find our rustic and scenic headquarters, has easy access to local shops, campgrounds, and trails. We run trips from April until August so your family and friends can make Kern River rafting your next Spring and Summer adventure. At the very least, you should come and take a ride in the Zambezi! It’s our open air tour bus we use to share the scenic beauty of the Kern River. We look forward to seeing you soon!
